Route Description for Ness Waterfall Walk
If you are looking for a family-friendly walking route that offers scenic views and the chance to reconnect with nature, then you will certainly want to experience the Ness Waterfall Walk. Featuring a charming woodland setting and an amazing waterfall, this route will be sure to keep every member of your walking party entertained for a few hours.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the west in order to reach the banks of the Burntollet River. From here, you will follow the water’s edge to the northeast, taking in the beautiful atmosphere of the forest and lovely riverside setting until you arrive at the viewpoint for the Ness Waterfall.
After taking in the sights of this picturesque woodland waterfall, you will follow the trail as it crosses over the river and turns to the southwest. Here, you will once again follow along the banks of the river, as you traverse the forest landscape on the return to the trailhead where you began your journey.
