If you are after a fairly laidback stroll that features some beautiful countryside and tranquil stretches of forest, then you will want to explore the Drumkeeragh Forest Park Circular. While a good portion of this trail does utilize quiet country roadways, there are still ample opportunities to relax in the charming forest atmosphere.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the south along Drumkeeragh Road, before turning right onto Mountain Road. From here, you will traverse the undulating landscape to the southwest, before turning to the northwest to make your way across the open fields and through a bit of tree cover. After reaching the northwest corner of the circuit near the Drumkeeragh car park, you will head to the northeast and pass through the forest in order to return to the trailhead where you began your adventure.
