The Cumber Forest Park Circular Walk is a great option for an outdoor excursion if you are looking for a quick and easy adventure that can be enjoyed by the entire family. The easy to navigate walkways and a pleasant woodland setting really do make for a great afternoon of walking and reconnecting with nature.
Setting out from the car park, you will enter into the cover of the forest and follow the path as it heads to the northeast. After reaching the northeast corner of the route where it meets Church Street, make a sharp left and follow the path to the southwest as it hugs alongside the banks of the River Faughan.
Take some time to appreciate both the charming forest as well as the serene riverside setting, before arriving at the confluence of the Faughan and Glenrandel rivers. Turn to the southeast here and follow along the banks of the Glenrandel River, making your way once again through the forest on the return to the car park.
