Setting out from the trailhead off Upper Knockbreda Road, you will head to the southeast through the magical atmosphere of Cregagh Glen, taking in the views of the surrounding forests, streams, and waterfalls as you work your way uphill.
Eventually, you will break free of the tree cover and traverse some open terrain, climbing further up the hillside until you reach Lisnabreeny Rath, an historic ringfort situated atop the hill. Here, you will experience some amazing views overlooking Belfast and the nearby harbour, before heading back downhill on the return to the trailhead.
