Route Description for Runswick Bay to Staithes Walk
If you find yourself in North York Moors National Park and want to switch up the scenery from the undulating and barren landscape of the moor to some rugged coastal views, then you should definitely check out the Runswick Bay to Staithes Walk. This one-way walk is quick and easy, providing wonderful views across the expanse of the North Sea that can be enjoyed by all.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way along the rugged coastal cliffs and take in some wonderfully scenic views of the water and various coves that can be found along the shoreline. After passing by Port Mulgrave, you will continue meandering along the dramatic coastline until you make the final leg of the journey into the charming village of Staithes. Here, you can either pop into one of the great pubs while you wait for your ride, or get back out on the trail for the return journey back to Runswick Bay.

To reach the trailhead for the Runswick Bay to Staithes Walk from nearby Hinderwell, head east on Runswick Lane for 0.7mi and continue straight onto Hinderwell Lane for another 0.2mi. Here, you will find the trailhead on the left.Route Information
