Featuring a lovely country pub at the beginning of the journey and scenic landscapes throughout, the Fox and Rabbit to Pickering Walk is a great adventure to undertake on the weekend, when you can meander through the countryside and reconnect with nature.
Setting out from the trailhead at the Fox and Rabbit Inn, you will head to the west across the open fields and descend into a vale, crossing over Pickering Beck before climbing uphill through the forest. Following along Ruddings Road to the west, you will eventually turn to the southwest and descend into another forested vale, taking in the tranquility of the woodland atmosphere until you pass by Pickering Castle and arrive at the end of the walk.
