Route Description for Brothers Creek Trail
The Brothers Creek Trail is a beautiful singletrack trail that climbs uphill through a thick covering of gorgeous West Coast forest alongside Brothers Creek. Sections of this 6.1 km out-and-back trail are fairly technical, especially on the descent, so make sure that you wear proper hiking footwear and use caution when navigating any muddy or icy terrain.
After crossing over the wooden bridge and setting off on the trail, it will begin to climb steeply uphill, making its way through the forest as it meanders alongside Brothers Creek. As you make your way along the trail, you will eventually reach a small clearing surrounding Blue Gentian Lake. This area is a perfect spot to set up and have a picnic while enjoying the beauty of nature. After you’ve wrapped up your day around the lake, pack up your things and head back down the same trail, navigating the technical descent to return to the parking area.
