Route Description for Angram Reservoir Circular Walk
The Angram Reservoir Circular Walk is a great place to spend the day in nature. Beginning at the Scar House car park, cross along the Scar House Dam wall and take a left to follow the shoreline. You will now be in the reservoir and when you reach the hillside, turn right and climb to the top where you will follow the path to the Angram Dam. This path around the dam is well worn and easy to follow. You will come to a steep footbridge which you will cross and then come up the hill to the pasture.
Pass through the gate that will appear and you will arrive at the bottom of the Angram Dam. This area of the walk can be slightly dangerous as conditions in this area can change quickly so be alert and prepared while walking along this part of the path. Continue along the path until you reach the car park where you began as this is a circuit walk.
