Route Description for Racehorse Falls Loop

Racehorse Falls is a very pretty waterfall on Racehorse Creek that can be reached either on a short out and back or on a slightly longer loop, which this guide follows. This trail is suitable for all ages and skill levels and doesn’t tend to get very busy. Some hikers feel the route beyond the falls isn’t very entertaining, so you can turn back at any point if you don’t want to complete the full loop.

The hike begins from N Fork Road. You’ll head south through a level stretch of forest. The viewpoint is easy to find, and you can use the connecting trail at the end of the road access route to see the falls from a few different angles. Take the trail past the falls that goes uphill, then hang a left to traverse across the hill. The route then turns left to rejoin N fork Road to return you to the trailhead.
