Route Description for The Niblet & Nublet from Assiniboine Lodge Trail
Hiking to the Niblet & Nublet from Assiniboine Lodge is a fairly quick and easy way to receive some amazing views of the surrounding alpine terrain of Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park without too much trouble in terms of challenging or technical terrain. The trail sets out from the lodge and heads west through relaxing stretches of forest and meadow before climbing uphill to reach the Niblet. From here, continue north along the ridgeline and soak up the breathtaking views until you arrive at the Nublet, which has some nice views of Nub Peak directly ahead. Take some time to appreciate the mountain setting before turning around to follow the trail back to the lodge. This return journey along the ridge will produce some amazing views of Sunburst Peak and Mount Assiniboine to the south.
