Route Description for Woodland Falls Trail
The Woodland Falls Trail is a family-friendly adventure near Pine Mountain Club that boasts wonderful scenery. In the summer months, this trail sees amazing wildflowers and a mesmerizing cascade. This route makes for a more technical but equally as enchanting adventure up the snow-cloaked canyon in the winter months. Be mindful of wildlife and mind your footing on the rocky terrain no matter the season.
Your adventure along the Woodland Falls Trail begins from the trailhead off Woodland Drive. From here, head south along the route signposted as “Trail”. Setting out from the trailhead, the path will guide you into the canyon adorned with a meandering creek in the spring and after rainfall. Mind your footing on the uneven and rocky terrain and enjoy the scene of the encompassing, lush vegetation. You will ultimately reach the trail’s end at Woodland Falls.
Admire the scene of the towering craggy walls and the scene of the mesmerizing cascades surging over the cliffside. After marveling at the beauty of the landscape, retrace your footing along the path back to the trailhead.
