Route Description for Mandeville Canyon Trail
Featuring nearly constant uphill terrain and beautifully scenic views overlooking Los Angeles, the Mandeville Canyon Trail is an exceptional adventure that will make you work for your reward… but not too hard!
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way north along the trail as it climbs uphill along the ridge. For those who want a bit of a smoother path, there is also a fire service road that runs parallel to the trail.
Take your time to appreciate the sweeping views along the trail, following it until you arrive at its end point atop San Vicente Mountain. Here, you can pause for a rest and refill your water, before heading back along the same route to return to the trailhead where you began.
