Route Description for Swindale Waterfall Walk
A popular route with beginner and casual walkers, the Swindale Waterfall Walk features some truly beautiful views and easy to manage terrain, making it perfectly suitable for adventurers of almost any skill level. This moderate length trail follows along Swindale Lane as it runs parallel to a stream along the valley floor, eventually transitioning to a walking trail before the climb up the steep terrain at the foot of Nabs Moor and High Wether Howe. Upon traversing the hillside, you will arrive at a series of beautiful waterfalls along Mosedale Beck known as Forces Falls. After taking in the views, retrace your steps along the trail to return to the parking area where you started your journey.

To reach the trailhead for the Swindale Waterfall Walk from the village of Keld, drive southwest for 0.6mi and turn right to continue on for 2.0mi. Make a left and follow the road for 1.0mi to find a layby for parking on the rightRoute Information
