Walking the Blake Fell & Cogra Moss Circular is a popular activity on the western edge of the Lake District, as the trail is not overly difficult and provides stunning views of charming lakes and nearby mountain peaks. The trail sets out from the car park and heads to the east along the foot of Knock Murton to meet up with the shores of Cogra Moss. Enjoy the views across the charming lake, as you eventually begin to climb up the hillside to traverse the rugged terrain of the surrounding fells. As the trail turns to the north, you will traverse the summits of Blake Fell and Sharp Knott, receiving beautiful views overlooking Cogra Moss in the process. Follow the trail down the hillside to work your way around the edge of the lake on the return portion of the walk.
Getting to the Blake Fell & Cogra Moss Circular Walk Trailhead
To reach the car park for the Blake Fell & Cogra Moss Walk from the post office in the village of Crossgates, drive southeast for 0.6mi and make a right to continue for another 0.3mi. Make a left here, and you will arrive at the car park in 0.3mi.Route Information
