Route Description for Binsey Trail
Although it is very short, the views from the top of the Binsey Trail - in addition to its easy difficulty - make this walk a perfect outing for a fun family weekend. The trail sets out from the side of the road and climbs the open terrain to the northwest until you reach the summit viewpoint atop Binsey. From here, you will have an amazing view of Bassenthwaite Lake, as well as nearby fells that include Skiddaw, High Pike, and Bakestall. After taking in the sights, follow the same trail back to return to your vehicle.
