Route Description for Pipe Creek Vista Hike
Pipe Creek Vista is a viewpoint that’s very easy to reach from the east side of Grand Canyon Village. The relaxed, mostly flat hike there is paved and simple to follow, and the views are constant. You can hike this route as a quick one as-is or you can continue a bit further to nearby Yaki Point should you want more distance and more views.
The trail is paved and inclines and declines are very gentle. This makes the route suitable for all skill levels and ages. Take care in colder weather as the trail can become snowy and icy.
From the trailhead, follow the Greenway Trail across S Entrance Road and then take a left at the 4-way junction. You’ll continue on the Greenway across the road again, then go right once you get to the Rim Trail. It’s a gorgeous stroll along this trail to Pipe Creek Vista, where you can stay as long as you like before turning back.
