Enjoy a hike through Medicine Grizzly Lake’s Trail and explore the beauty that makes up this popular trail. Walking on mostly flat ground, with a few patches of climbing, you will see Mad Wolf and Bad Marriage mountain soar above the grassy plains. As you carry on, you will be met with Cut Bank Creek that flows into moose territory, and you may spot a grey wolf as well. Right before you hit your destination of Medicine Grizzly Lake, you will wander through a field full of colourful wildflowers.
Route Description for Medicine Grizzly Lake Trail
Medicine Grizzly Lake Trail is a beautiful trail that is home to many grizzly bears, moose and grey wolves that you may catch a glimpse of on your hike. The highlights of the trail are early views of Mad Wolf Mountain as well as Bad Marriage Mountain, and as you hike through the terrain, you will be greeted by Medicine Grizzly Lakes emerald-green shores.
Getting to the Medicine Grizzly Lake Trail Trailhead
To get to Medicine Grizzly Lake Trail, head west on Midvale St toward MT-49 North. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto MT-49 South and travel for 0.5mi. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto US-89 South for 3.7mi and then keep left to continue on US-2 E for 31.5mi until you reach Cut Banks, the beginning of Medicine Grizzly Lakes Trail.Route Information
