Route Description for Curly Creek Falls via Lewis River Trail
The charming Curly Creek Falls are less than a mile down the Lewis River Trail, offering an excellent effort to reward ratio for hikers. This trail is easy to follow and suitable for all ages and skill levels. While you can’t get down to the bottom of the falls, the viewpoint gives you lots to admire.
We don’t recommend hiking this trail in late summer as the falls are prone to completely drying up. Try March through early July for the best experience.
Beginning from the trailhead, take the bridle path along the Lewis River. You’ll walk between Pepper Creek Road and the River for less than half a mile, arriving at the falls viewpoint to your right. Snap some photos, admire the falls, and then turn around to retrace your steps back to the trailhead.
