Route Description for Broome Hut Hike
Hike the semi-exposed trail along Second Creek, culminating at the Broome Hut. This scenic hike is short and sweet, which is ideal for families with small children. Consider packing provisions and having a picnic at the scenic overlook before heading back. When the Broome Hut is open, there are washrooms and a warming hut that is open to the public. Whether you head in for the day or for the overnight experience, make sure you pack out.
Begin your excursion up the Broome Hut Trail from the parking lot. From the carpark, the Second Creek Trail will guide you through the woodlands and along the creek’s edge. Track northwest up the well-marked path until you reach Broome Hut.
Explore the impressively isolated hut and the striking views that surround you. From Broome Hut, you will have an unobstructed view of the Continental Divide.
