Travelling the South West Coast Path: Trentishoe to Ilfracombe is a lengthy point-to-point adventure that is well suited for long-distance walkers and backpackers, as it travels a good stretch along the North Devon coast and provides stunning views of the Bristol Channel. Along this walk, you will traverse the rugged coastal terrain and pass through the town of Combe Martin, leaving behind the boundaries of Exmoor National Park and you continue west along the dramatic cliffs until you reach the end point in Ilfracombe.
Getting to the South West Coast Path: Trentishoe to Ilfracombe Trailhead
To get to the South West Coast Path: Trentishoe to Ilfracombe trailhead from the National Trust building in the Heddon Valley, you will need to make your way north on foot for 250ft and make a slight right on King’s Lane, followed by a slight left in 90ft onto a footpath. Keep left for 0.4mi and cross over the river to reach the trailhead.Route Information
