This easy-going adventure will take you around the scenic shores of a lake that is popular with paddle boarders, with the mountains providing a nice backdrop against the surface of the water.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southeast along the shoreline of Lake Irwin, taking in the lovely views across the water as you round the southern tip of the lake. Here, you will follow the water’s edge and take in the views of the surrounding mountains, before arriving at the north end of the lake, where you will have the opportunity to check out a charming little waterfall. Heading to the south, you will pass by the campground and enjoy some final views across the water, before making your way into the trailhead where you began.
