Route Description for Granby Reservoir No.11 Hike
Although the trail can be a bit challenging in terms of navigation, the Granby Reservoir No.11 Hike is a fantastic option if you are looking to explore the forests near Grand Mesa and experience a bit of solitude while doing so.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southwest through a lovely meadow, before passing through a stretch of forest. These two terrain types will alternate throughout the route, offering a nice mixture of scenery to look at.
Continuing on to the southwest, you will soon hike between the shores of Sunset Lake Number 2 and the Boulder Lake Reservoir, before climbing slightly uphill. After traversing the undulating terrain, you will arrive at the endpoint of the route at the shores of Granby Reservoir No.11. Once you have taken in the views across the water, simply head back along the same trail to return to your vehicle.
