The Beaumaris Lake Trail in Edmonton is another short and simple trail in the city. If you find yourself near the park, definitely consider stopping in. It is close to many restaurants and amenities and is easy to access. The trail is a short loop around the park that features a stunning lake.

Route Description for Beaumaris Lake Trail

From the parking area on our route, you can hike in either direction around the lake. The trail follows closely along the shore of the manmade lake. The lake was created as part of a storm management plan and now features a great walking path.

Follow the simple path around the entirety of the trail. The trail is 2.7 km with almost no elevation gain. It is an easy trail for families as well. Enjoy the blue waters of the lake as you walk the simple shoreline path.

Getting to the Beaumaris Lake Trail Trailhead

To get to Beaumaris Lake from Edmonton, Follow AB-28 towards the Beaumaris neighborhood, taking the exit onto 153 Ave NW. Turn right onto Beaumaris Rd NW and follow signs for the park.
