Route Description for Jimmy Russel to Hoodoo View Loop
Hiking the Jimmy Russel to Hoodo View Loop is a fun way to spend an afternoon in the Kimberley area due to easily navigable trails and beautiful scenery. The trail sets out from the Kimberley Riverside Campground and heads north before turning west at the junction to split off on a small loop through the forest. Along the trail, you will have some views of nearby hoodoos and the Purcell Mountains to the northwest. The second half of the route heads into a stretch of dense forest, making it more of a nature trail than a sight-seeing expedition.
