Route Description for South West Coast Path: Westward Ho! To Clovelly
Walking the South West Coast Path: Westward Ho! to Clovelly is a popular activity along the coast thanks to its gorgeous views across the water and its rugged, but not too challenging terrain. Setting out from the car park, you will head west along the edge of the water to pass by the Seafield Holiday Park before following the trail as it bends with the coast to the southwest. Eventually, you will pass by Peppercombe Wood and climb further uphill along the cliffs, traversing the undulating terrain around Buck’s Mills on the approach to the terminus of the route in Clovelly.

To get to the South West Coast Path: Westward Ho! to Clovelly trailhead from the Church of St Margaret in Northam, drive north on The Square for 170ft and turn left onto Sandymere Road, following it for 0.3mi. Make another left onto Golf Links Road and continue on for 1mi to find the car park entrance on the left.Route Information
