Route Description for Roundball Hill Walk
If you aren’t looking to stray too far from town but still want to experience some beautifully scenic views overlooking the Devon countryside, why not give the Roundball Hill Walk a try. Setting out from the trailhead near the southern edge of Honiton, you will initially make your way west along the road before veering southwest on an uphill climb to the summit of Roundball hill. After taking in the sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, you will head to the east and make your way downhill to cross over The Gissage. From here, continue east and climb up the steep hillside, looping around to the northeast to make your way along the road on the return to the trailhead.
Getting to the Roundball Hill Walk Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Roundball Hill Walk from the Honiton rail station, drive south on CHurch Hill for 0.3mi and take the second exit at the roundabout onto Waterleat Avenue, following it for 0.1mi. Continue straight onto Weatherill Road and you will find the trailhead in 0.4mi. You will need to find roadside parking nearby.Route Information
