Route Description for Roselands to Goodrington Loop
The Roselands to Goodrington Loop is a fantastic walk along the Devon coast that is popular with walkers and beach goers alike, as it passes through some scenic terrain and takes you to Goodrington Sands Beach. Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way east through town and pass by the forested expanse of Clennon Gorge, taking in the views of the Clennon Lakes as you make your way over the rail tracks. Eventually, you will arrive at Goodrington Sands, an excellent beach where you can relax in the sun and take in lovely views of the English Channel. From here, continue on to the south before turning west on the return leg back to the trailhead.
Getting to the Roselands to Goodrington Loop Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Roselands to Goodrington Loop from Brixham, drive west on New Road/A3022 for 2.6mi and continue straight on Dartmouth Road for 185.0mi. Make a slight left on Brixham Road and follow it for 1.5mi before turning right onto Roselands Drive. After 380ft, turn left to continue on the same road, where you will reach the trailhead in 0.1mi.Route Information
