Route Description for Ringmore Bigbury Circular Walk
The Ringmore Bigbury Circular Walk is another fantastic walking route along the South Devon coast that is popular with families and beginner walkers, thanks to the stunning views across the English Channel and the easy to navigate terrain. Setting out from the car park, you will head to the southwest, where you will very quickly reach the edge of the water. Enjoy the gorgeous views, as you work your way to the southeast along the rugged coastal terrain, descending slightly to pass by Challaborough Beach on the way to Bigbury-on-Sea. After making your way through the village, you will head to the northeast to walk along the edge of the golf course before turning back to the west on the final leg back to the car park.
Getting to the Ringmore Bigbury Circular Walk Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Ringmore Bigbury Circular Walk from Bigbury-on-Sea, drive northeast on Folly Hill for 0.8mi and make a slight left to continue on for 0.4mi. Make a left here and follow the road for 0.8mi before making another slight left turn. After 1.0mi, turn left again and keep right to enter the car park.Route Information
