Route Description for Otterton Circular Walk
If you have been searching for a trail with spectacular views overlooking the water that doesn’t feature any overly challenging terrain, then you just might have found it in the Otterton Circular Walk. Setting out from the trailhead in Otterton, you will make your way to the southeast through the village until you arrive at the edge of the water. From here, head to the southwest and keep the English Channel on your left, enjoying the stunning views across the water as you navigate the coastal terrain. Eventually, you will meet up with the River Otter. Turn to the north here and follow along the banks of the river, passing by the Otterton Mill as you arrive back at the trailhead.
Getting to the Otterton Circular Walk Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Otterton Circular Walk from Budleigh Salterton, drive north on E Budleigh Road for 2.1mi and turn right on Sleap Hill, following it for 0.2mi. Continue straight onto Fore Street and you will find parking on the right in 0.3mi.Route Information
