If you are after a relaxing coastal walk without too much in the way of challenging terrain, then the Hannaford Road and Revelstoke Drive Walk is a great option to get out and explore the stunning landscapes along the Devon coast. Setting out from the village of Noss Mayo, you will make your way to the southwest, climbing uphill to traverse the countryside on the way to the coast. Once there, you will follow along the rugged cliffside to the west, gazing out over the secret coves and blue waters of the English Channel, as you round the point and head back to the northeast. The final leg of the walk will see you meander along the edge of the Yealm Estuary until you arrive back at the trailhead in Noss Mayo.
Getting to the Hannaford Road and Revelstoke Drive Walk Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Hannaford Road and Revelstoke Drive Walk from Newton Ferrers, drive southeast on Bridgend Hill for 0.3mi and turn right at Widey Hill to continue on for 30ft. Make another right onto Stoke Road and follow it for 0.5mi, continuing straight onto Revelstoke Road for 0.1mi. Keep straight on Chequers Haigh and after 395ft, make a sharp right onto Hillhead.
