Route Description for Brixham and Mansands Circular Walk
Walking the Brixham and Mansands Circular Trail is a popular activity in Brixham not only for walkers that are after scenic views and a bit of exercise along undulating terrain, but also for those looking to walk to the beach. Setting out from the trailhead in front of the Skipper Inn, you will head southwest along the road and turn left onto Southdown Hill, following it out of the city to climb uphill across the open fields. Eventually, you will descend the hillside and arrive at Mansands Beach, a great spot to lay out on the sand and enjoy the lovely seaside views. From here, you will make your way to the northeast and climb up the steep hillside, traversing the cliffside terrain and taking in the views of the English Channel as you work your way towards the Sharkham Point National Nature Reserve.
