Eventually, you will meet an intersection where the 12 Mile Trail exits the dog park. If you want a longer adventure, then exit the path and venture along the route. If you wish to continue along the dog park trail, merge onto the Cherry Creek Trail. Follow this path to the northwestern corner of the park, before heading east, crossing over another section of the creek. From here, continue along the boundary trail and hike south along the path and over another finger of the creek before being delivered back to the trailhead. Your return to the trailhead marks the end of your exciting canine-filled adventure!
