Just be sure to wear sturdy walking boots and you will be fine. Setting out from the car park, you will follow the trail to the northeast to traverse Saddle Tor and the rocky summit of Haytor, before passing by the scenic Haytor Quarry that was mined in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
