A fun journey across the hilly landscape of Dartmoor, the Pew Tor and Heckwood Tor Circular Walk is perfectly suitable for families and beginner walkers that want to experience some beautiful views of the park and surrounding Devon countryside. Setting out from the car park, you will head to the south along the hillside and climb up to the summit of Pew Tor, enjoying lovely views across the farmland to the west. From here, you will head to the northeast across Heckwood Tor before turning to the north on the return leg across the hillscape back to the car park.

To reach the trailhead for the Pew Tor and Heckwood Tor Circular Walk from Tavistock, drive east on Mount Tavy Road/B3357 for 3.0mi and turn left to enter the car park.Route Information
