Route Description for Squirrel Path Hike
The Squirrel Path is a great family activity for those who want to get outside and enjoy the natural beauty of Crans Montana. The trail here is easy to follow, allowing you to focus on enjoying the day, rather than sweating the details.
The trail begins at Place d’Ycoor, in front of the casino, where you will find a sign showing you which way to go. From here, you will pass the Tourist Office and go up the steps that lead to the church.
Now following the road (Route des Arolles), you will turn right at the next sign and make your way towards the forest, where you will undoubtedly encounter some squirrels along the trail - hence the name! After reaching the end point of the Squirrel Path Hike, you will need to either arrange a pick up or backtrack along the trail, doubling the overall distance of your hike.
