Route Description for Upton Cheyney Walk
The Upton Cheyney Walk is a lovely country circular from the Upton Inn, just outside of Bristol. This family-friendly walk features amazing views of Bristol and the Cotswolds AONB from the tops of the rolling hills. Enjoy the lush fields and quiet woods along the path, but be sure to wear your wellies since the ground can be muddy in spots.
This walk has some hills and stiles for you to climb, so it is not very pushchair-friendly. That said, the kids will love all the sheep, cows, horses, and donkeys wandering the fields. This is also a dog-friendly walk; just be sure to keep them well away from the livestock. Enjoy some after-walk refreshments at the Upton Inn, which even has a dog-friendly section in the bar.
