Route Description for Heart of England Way: Stow Circular Walk
Making up only a small portion of the 160.9 km of recreational trails that are the Heart of England Way, the Stow Circular Walk is a pleasant adventure that will expose you to some of the natural beauty that can be found in The Cotswolds AONB and Gloucestershire county. Setting out from the trailhead, you will exit Stow on the Wold via the road leading south and eventually branch off to the southwest to descend the hillside. After passing by the historic Hyde Mill, you will turn to the northwest and follow along the banks of the River Dikler to make your way through the village of Lower Swell. From there, you will turn to the east and follow along the roadside until it brings you back into the village where you began your adventure.
