Setting out from the Shipton rail station, you will make your way southwest along the road into Shipton under Wychwood before turning to the northwest to traverse a vast stretch of open farmland. Reaching the northernmost point of the trail, you will turn to the southwest to head through a lovely bit of woodland terrain before cutting back across the countryside to the southeast to pass through the charming village of Milton under Wychwood on the return leg of the journey back to the trailhead.

To reach the trailhead for the Milton under Wychwood Circular Walk from Burford, drive north on High Street/A361 for 0.3mi and take the second exit at the roundabout onto A361.
