Route Description for Guiting Wood Loop
If you enjoy peaceful walks through beautifully scenic forest landscapes, then the Guiting Wood Loop is the perfect route for you to get out and begin exploring some of the amazing trails in The Cotswolds. Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the northwest along the meandering banks of a tributary of the River Windrush, working along the forested base of the hillside before turning to the west along a lane. Eventually, you will break away from the lane and follow a footpath that will lead you through the beautiful expanse of Guiting Wood that provides a wonderfully atmospheric woodland setting. After passing through the wood, you will descend the hillside on the return to the trailhead.

Getting to the Guiting Wood Loop Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Guiting Wood Loop from Winchcombe, drive to the southeast on Castle Street for 0.5mi and keep straight onto Sudeley Hill. Follow this for 1.4mi and continue onto Campden Lane for another 2.1mi before making a left onto Critchford Lane. In 0.5mi, you will find the trailhead on the left.Route Information
