Route Description for Edge Hill Loop
For outdoor enthusiasts who love beautifully scenic views and historical charm, the Edge Hill Loop is a fantastic option for enjoying a fun day on the trails. Setting out from the car park at the Upton House and Gardens, you will make your way to the southwest past the estate to eventually arrive at the top of a steep, wooded hillside. Follow along the edge to the northwest and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding countryside, as you pass by the village of Edge Hill and turn to the southeast to make your way through Ratley. Here, you will enjoy views of the historic buildings before cutting across the open farmland to the southwest on the return leg of your journey back to Upton House.

Getting to the Edge Hill Loop Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Edge Hill Loop from Banbury, head to the northwest on Warwick Road/A422 for 0.6mi and turn left onto Stratford Road/A422. Follow this for 1.4mi and turn right to continue along the same road for another 4.4mi, where you will find the car park on the left.Route Information
