Featuring beautiful views across the expanse of Mount’s Bay, the South West Coast Path: Penzance to Poldhu Cove is an amazing long distance journey that will really showcase the rugged, yet scenic terrain of the Cornwall coast. Sturdy walking boots with good support are highly recommended for this lengthy adventure.
Setting out from the trailhead in Penzance, you will head east along the coast and enjoy views across Mount’s Bay that stretch out to the isolated island of St. Michael’s Mount. After traversing Cudden’s Point, you will continue along the edge of the water and experience a lovely sightline across coves and sandy beaches, as you eventually make your way to the beautifully scenic endpoint of the walk in Poldhu Cove.

To get to the South West Coast Path: Penzance to Poldhu Cove trailhead from the Penzance Promenade, head northeast on Western Promenade Road for 0.3mi and continue straight on Battery Road for another 0.1mi. Keep straight onto The Quay for 0.2mi and keep right on Wharf Road, turning right after 1115ft to enter the car park.Route Information
