Route Description for Helford Passage and Dennis Head Walk
Whether you prefer lovely riverside walks or taking in the majesty of the open sea, fear not, as the Helford Passage and Dennis Head Walk will expose you to scenic viewpoints where you can appreciate views overlooking each type of waterscape.
Setting out from the car park in Helford, you will make your way east along the banks of the Helford River, taking in the views across the water as they present themselves through the intermittent tree cover. Along this section of the route, you will pass through St Anthony-in-Meneage and visit the church of St Anthony, before traversing the forested terrain on the edge of Gillan Creek. Eventually, the route will turn to the northwest and traverse the open farmlands and forests on the return leg of the walk back to the car park.
