Route Description for Grampound Circular Walk
If you are looking to hit the trails for a few hours in order to clear your head, or simply want to spend some time outdoors while exploring the lovely landscape of Cornwall, then the Grampound Circular Walk is a great option to do so.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will head east through the quaint village of Grampound, before turning to the northeast onto Pepo Lane. From here, you will traverse the undulating terrain to the northeast as you pass through open fields and small stretches of forest, before meeting up with a quiet country lane.
Following this to the west, you will head slightly downhill and cross over the River Fal, passing by the Trenowth Mill before crossing a railway line. Shortly after this, you will head south and cross over the railway line once again to pass through a tranquil stretch of woodland terrain. After making your way through the forest, you will exit the tree cover and traverse several small fields, eventually making your way to the southeast along a lane to return to the village where you started your walk.
