Route Description for Chapel Porth to St Agnes Walk
Featuring dramatic coastal cliffs, beautifully scenic vantage points overlooking the sea, and countless secluded coves, the Chapel Porth to St Agnes Walk is the perfect coastal adventure for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Cornwall.
Setting out from the Chapel Porth car park, you will make your way along the rugged coastal terrain to reach the lookout at St Agnes Head. Here, you will enjoy beautifully scenic views along the shoreline that stretch out into the blue expanse of the Bristol Channel. From here, you will continue along the edge of the headland, making your way east towards St Agnes.
As you approach the edge of the village, you will enjoy some beautiful views of Trevaunance Cove, before making your way to the southwest to skirt around the edge of the village. After traversing the woodlands and open fields, you will once again meet up with the coast, following it south past the Wheal Coates Engine House on the return to the trailhead at the Porth Chapel car park.
