Venture past not one but two mesmerizing cascades along the Silver Cascade Falls Trail. Climb through mixed pine forests up to the waterfall, which provides breathtaking views of the encompassing mountainous wilderness gashed with serrated canyons.

Route Description for Silver Cascade Falls Trail

Get the whole family out into the fresh air along the Silver Cascade Falls Trail. Impressively picturesque, this short trek reveals dumbfounding scenery without tackling a technical summit ascent. Enjoy epic mountain views from the overlook at the trail’s culmination and revel in the sights of the mesmerizing cascades. Note that the terrain can be slippery in the winter months, so consider bringing a pair of microspikes to safely navigate the terrain.

Embark on your excursion along the Silver Cascade Falls Trail from the Helen Hunt Falls Trailhead. From here, hike the Silver Cascade Falls Trail to the base of Helen Hunt Falls before climbing up the bridge overlooking the cascade below. Revel in the mesmerizing sights of the falls, then continue southwest along the path through the mixed pine woodlands.

Soon you will reach the Silver Cascade Falls. Enjoy the cascades and dip your toes in the chilly waters. From here, make sure to admire the expansive sights of the verdant woodlands that cover the mountains and the dramatic canyons below. Retrace your footing along the path back to the trailhead when you are ready.
