Route Description for Pulpit Rock via Rockhurst Blvd Loop
The Pulpit Rock via Rockhurst Blvd Loop is an epic fresh air escape. Get your heart rate up as you meander through the lush grasslands that reveal views of the Pulpit Rock and the Front Range summits that line the horizon! Note that there is a myriad of trails in the park, and most are unmarked, so consider bringing along the trail GPS to navigate the terrain more easily. When hiking in the summer months, it is important to note that the path is exposed, so wear a sunhat and bring sun protection!
Embark on your adventure along the Pulpit Rock via Rockhurst Blvd Loop from the trailhead odd Rockhurst Blvd. Head south here and then left at the first intersection. Using the trail GPS, wander south, and when you reach the stream, head west along the south side of the Pulpit Rock. Soon you will be diverted northwest, climbing up to the Pulpit Rock. Revel in the vistas from here, then retrace your footing, continuing to track east along the ridgeline.
Follow his route southeast back into the meadowlands, and you will eventually be redirected north. Then, wandering north, you will be guided back to the trailhead.
