This Open Space is conveniently located in Colorado Springs’s city center and attracts lunchtime escapees and weekend adventurers alike, so don’t be surprised if you must share the trails! This section of the trail will hike parallel to Pulpit Rock, delivering awe-inspiring vistas of the unique granite spires.
As you meander west, you will also be granted distant panoramas of the rolling foothills. Revel in the diversity of the area’s terrain, and the path will soon track north, reconnecting you with the initial route, which you will backtrack along to the trailhead.
