Your trek along the Mesa Trail to Red Rock Canyon Loop begins from the trailhead off West High Street. From here, track the Red Rock Canyon Trail southeast. This path will guide you over the mesa and through the canyon bounded by looming cliffs. Next, pass the Lyons Sandstone Quarry. Eventually, the path will merge onto the Roundup Trail before hooking onto the Mesa Trail. The Mesa Trail will divert you north, along the western side of the Lyons Sandstone.
Follow this route north, enjoying the unique features that litter the landscape. Hike this route back to the trailhead, marking the end of your adventure.
