Route Description for Pulpit Hill and Ninn Wood Walk
Pulpit Hill and Ninn Wood Walk in the Chilterns name is a lovely family-friendly walk that takes you through a montage of scenery: Pulpit Wood, Pulpit Hillfort, grasslands, and Ninn Wood. Expect wildflowers to add a layer of beauty to the grasslands in the summer! You’ll travel through Pulpit Wood and Pulpit Hillfort before traversing a stretch of grasslands. Near the end of the loop, you’ll get to explore Ninn Wood.
The chalk surfaces may cause slippery conditions after rain, so be mindful of this before going! You will also have to navigate a few kissing gates and a stile (which is dog-friendly). At one point, the route will have you crossing the road. The Pulpit Hill and Ninn Wood Walk may have some steep sections, but the scenery will help hinder any complaints.
