Route Description for Henley, Binfield Heath and Sonning Circular Walk
The Henley, Binfield Heath and Sonning Circular Walk takes you on a lovely, long loop, where you’ll pass villages, scenic waterfronts, head through open fields, and meander in secluded woodland. Some areas may be muddy during the wetter months, so bring along proper footwear! Sometimes, the Thames section of this walk is subject to flooding. The steps and kissing gates peppering this walk are manageable for dogs, but not buggies. There is one stile that may be tricky for pups!
You can grab food en route at The Flowing Spring near Sonning or The Baskerville in Lower Shiplake, which is near the end of your loop. Take a GPS with you to ensure you’re going the right way!
